Joe Biden has had a tough week. After a disastrous debate with Donald Trump, the US President has been hammered by a difficult public narrative, and calls for his removal have only increased. His statements promising to reestablish trust among donors and voters have not helped at all. His next big challenge is to present a brave front in a crucial TV interview and persuade his supporters and voters.

A press release states that ABC News will air the interview in its entirety as a primetime special on Friday, July 5 at 8/7c. A preview of the interview will be shown on the July 5 episode of "World News Tonight with David Muir."

On "This Week," the interview and additional analysis will air once more on July 7.

The decision to air the interview was rethought by the network, and it will now air on Friday primetime, highlighting the growing interest in Biden's health. Questions have been raised regarding ABC's decision not to air a live interview and to reschedule the air time by broadcasting it earlier. Pundits have called it a piece of liberal's system to find out Biden's feasibility to run.
