On Sunday, India's cricket legend MS Dhoni turned 43. His wife, Sakshi, and close friends held a small midnight birthday party to mark the occasion.

The presence of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who could also be seen in one of the many video clips from the party that were going viral on social media, made the gathering on Dhoni's special day even more memorable.

Sakshi touched her husband's feet after Dhoni had cut the cake out of respect. As their friends took pleasure in the lighthearted moment, MSD extended his hand to bless Sakshi.

One of the minutes that gets consideration while watching the recordings is Dhoni inquiring "yeh eggless hai na" to ensure that the cake is without eggs, perhaps guaranteeing it for his vegan companions at the party.

Salman also posted a birthday message to Dhoni on social media later.

However, fans at Nandigama in Andhra Pradesh put up a 100-foot MSD cutout to mark Dhoni's birthday. Dhoni's birthday celebrations also started early elsewhere in India.

The most successful wicketkeeper, batsman, and iconic captain of India played in 90 Test matches before retiring from red-ball cricket in 2014. In Test cricket, he scored 4876 runs at an average of 38.09, including 7 hundreds and 33 fifties, his highest score being 224.

After playing 350 ODIs and 98 T20Is, he retired from international cricket on August 15, 2020, and continued to play white-ball cricket for India.

In 50-over internationals, he scored 10,773 runs at an average of 50.58, including 73 fifties and 10 centuries. He scored 1617 runs in T20Is, including two half-centuries, at an average of 37.6.

He is the only Indian captain to have won the Test mace, the Champions Trophy (2013), the ODI World Cup (2011), and the T20 World Cup (2013) all from the ICC.
